Dr. Ihab Sameer Al-Qubbaj,
Currently, I working as a president assistant of Palestine Technical University/ Kadoorie for university branches. previously worked as Minister assistant of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Technical Education and worked as Assistant deputy minister for Higher Education.
Dr Ihab hold a Ph.D. in Business Administration. Held many positions, as Vice President of Palestine Technical University / Kadoorie for Community Affairs and Public Relations, Dean of the College of Business and Economics, Head of the Financial and Banking Sciences Department, Acting as Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Acting Chairman of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission in Palestinian Higher Education Institutions.
Dr Ihab is a member of the Board of Directors of the higher Council for innovation and Excellence, a member of the Board of Directors of the loan fund for undergraduate in Palestine, and Vice-Chairman of the Council, a member of the Palestinian Higher Education Council, a member of the Higher Education Reform Experts Committee (HEREs), a member of the Advisory Committee for Palestinian Economic Statistics, and a member of the Advisory Board of the “zamallah” Fellowship, a member of the Board of Directors of the Solidarity Fund, and a member of the Higher Committee for Equivalence of Certificates at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
was also a member of the Palestinian National Committee for Education Reform, and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Governmental Medical College in Hebron, the Budget and Planning Committee of the Ministry of Education, and its General Examination Committee. He is also currently the head of the Palestinian side in the German-Palestinian cooperation program for joint scientific research.
He has many research interests in the fields of leadership, innovation, emotional intelligence, leadership, and he has many research publications on this.
He participated in dozens of conferences, seminars, and workshops, whether at the local, regional, or international level, on various topics, including institutional reform, project management, regulations, laws, political systems, public administration, higher education, and the quality and governance of its institutions.
also represented Palestine in many international forums in the matter of developing higher education systems and scientific research.
